Sub-Mariner #1 1968 looks like the cover became detached and he stapled it back on (shrug) missing 2nd page of the letters page

Origin of the Sub-Mariner (Namor McKenzie) retold.
NOTE: One of Marvel's "Big Premiere Issues" of 1968.
NOTE: This story recounts most of Namor's history, including a great deal of material retold from his first Silver Age appearance in Fantastic Four #4 (May 1962). Therefore, all character appearances – except for the Sub-Mariner and Destiny – are told in flashback form.
NOTE: Neptune's Trident appears on the cover of this issue. This is the first time we see it, after being redesigned, it now looks more like a weapon, and less ornamental.
