- First appearance of Jason Todd who will replace Grayson as Robin, and then become the Red Hood.
- Second appearance of Killer Croc whose first appearance is a 4-panel cameo in Detective Comics #523 (Feb. 1983).
- First appearance of Squid (Lawrence Loman).

• Early appearance of Killer Croc. Could be either 2nd, 3rd or 4th depending on which database is used as reference. However, dc.wikia.com lists this issue - Batman #358 - as the first full appearance of Killer Croc.
