What ever happened to the Value of TMNT Books?

That's what I'm thinking too... either the graphic novel 1-4 reprint(?) or the softcover 1-12 reprint....

 

Doesn't sound like a rare original item but let's see the dang scan already wink.giflaugh.gif

The first issue had a print run of 3000 copies. I actually bought my copy (signed) from Eastman and Laird back in May, 1984, at the Portsmouth Comic Con because I saw the full page ad they took out in CBG. It was their debut convention actually.

 

The second printing of #1 had a print run of 15,000. The third printing was 36,000 copies.

 

It was black and white inside with a two color cover. (Black with red ink)

 

You can tell it's a first printing by the ad for Gobbledygook #1 and #2.
