Ozonetv Posted December 6, 2020 Share Posted December 6, 2020 (edited) I have a nice GA book that seems to have archival tape along the spine of pretty much each wrap at the spine - but not on the cover (I assume it was taken apart at some point and reinforced).It was done very well and hard to tell its even there. I dont see any real repair tho...it seems applied as a precaution. Got a couple questions: -Is this an automatic Green Label? Or Purple? I know CGC says it disregards tape and just grades as if it weren't there - but not sure what they'd do in this case. -Is it possible to ask them to give it a Blue and take the hit in grade? -Is it common for GA to have 1 staple in the center (this is my only GA book, so I cant tell).
