This is the earliest first print Classics Illustrated I've owned as far as I can remember. Upper spine split to upper staple with chips out, split lower spine, small corner off lower LH FC. Tears at staples. Cover still hanging on, barely, to both staples. Interior is nice, tight with offwhite pages. Back cover is missing, chipping and a couple tears around perimeter of FC. Nice gloss though. Interior is quite nice, tight with offwhite - white pages. Mouse chew along upper spine above the top staple, Silverfish have been at the lower spine for the bottom inch, and a touch on the lower RH BC, not bad but it's there. And the mouse has rounded off the entire lower RH corner of the book, Take a look at the scan, it still displays VERY nicely in a nice glossy mylar, Touch of gloss left, spine and CF still firmly attached, offwhite pages in a nice interior. Upper staple rusty with a bit of migration. Some small tears on first page, nothing that touches the art. Interior is otherwise nice, tight with white pages.
