Some things to consider while evaluating this book. Both staple are attached to the cover and all wraps There is a 4mm front cover tear at the bottom of top staple. An 8mm spine tear on the Punishers arm, Three 2mm tears on the right edge of the front cover. A. 2mm tear on top left of back cover. There is a lovely full length crease running from middle top left through S-M to middle lower right. No tears along the crease. 20mm bend on lower right front corner and a 15mm bend on upper left aback cover Unknown staining on front and back covers. It has nice colors and gloss but when you take the staining, foxing, and that big crease in to account it really drives down the grade IMO. I'm gonna say 5.0. Maybe 5.5 tops. It is so hard to tell if it is just oxidation or what it is....is it foxing in some spots? I know CGC tends to give Fine grades for books with foxing but for me, I am taking it a tad lower to be safe. I would not be stunned to see a 5.5 or 6.0 from CGC but if those stains are actual foreign substances on the paper rather than the paper changing due to past poor storage conditions, I feel it will be hit harder. I think the back cover has a foreign stain on left side, like chocolate or something similar. The spine looks like foxing to me. The front cover also looks like foxing.
