perils of slabbing

I know,nobody really cares about this run, but it was the first issue in a team up that lasted about 7 or 8 years, features Byrne art, Claremont scripts and in 9.4 it doesn't cover the cost of slabbing. I happen to like this part of that run a lot.

 

i guess i set my pre-screen, if i ever do one, at 9.6 and hope a few pass muster.

you got a problem with 20x guide for a fairly plentiful BA ASM? if i had one of the other two listed in the census, i would be on the horn with the underbidder like immediately

there must be a bunch of those waiting to be slabbed. i don't happen to own one, but I have a bunch from the 180s that are likely 9.6 - 9.8 worthy. how tough (other than the black cover aspect) could 194 be?

had i seen the PW/IF i probably would have been willing to pay more than that price for it. i'm just not actively looking for slabs right now and, due to space considerations and baby costs, have trimmed back my buying in general.
