Can you prescreen a comic for restoration 0

I’ve been looking at some comics recently for Cgc but I am worried about getting a purple label and was just worried if the is a way to have it checked for restoration before going ahead with the grading of the book

Good question, but no, I don't think so.

It’s a shame if they don’t other the service I mean the least they could do is ask you if they do find it in the grading process if you want to have it graded

If you show good scans/photos of the book, the Boards might be able to determine restoration.
