Gmcd198
I pulled a bunch of my comics that may or may not be worth getting graded. I just took a few group shots of some. Are there any that definitely should be slabbed or are most not worth it? I’d love to be able to have most graded but it’s not in my budget. Funnybooks
How comfortable are you with grading raw books? The "better" the condition of the book, the more it may make sense to slab for the purposes of selling..especially the "keys". If it's for your personal collection with no intent to sell, keep them raw as is.
OuterboroGuy
There is no point in slabbing anything unless you intend to sell them.
Rip
Really depends on the grade, hard to see but if they are above VF I would start by slabbing the GL 76, 85 Hulk 180, 181, Bats 232, and New Gods 1. But before anything and I would first learn a bit about grading and think about what means more, the money, or the book. DedalusMan
I like slabbing anything that's worth $500+ on the market, for preservation and investment purposes. There's really no other way to be sure what your valuable issues are actually worth, e.g. for insurance purposes. Also, as a collector, wouldn't you want to know if your key issue is a 9.8 vs. a 9.6 or less? Skunkboy
The Less Blob
On several of those you really need to be sure they are 9.6 to be worth it, some of them 9.8. others are more no brainers just looking at distance scans and figuring they are above 7.0 like the Hulk 181, etc.
Hey Kids, Comics!
Start with the 181 and see how it goes.
MisterX
I wouldn't bother slabbing the Shadow, Inhumans, most of the Green Lanterns, Morbius, Howard the Duck, OMAC, Sandman. If you're planning to sell, I suggest submitting the Eternals pretty soon, because prices will most likely go down after the movie comes out.
