KirbyJack
I rarely sell on ebay. Maybe 8 times in my life. As my LCS owners will tersely tell you, I sell mostly here!

Hollywood1892
I don't enjoy my collection at all, I'm paranoid about grades, staples, bindery's,resales. Sometimes I wonder why I've even built a collection Edited March 7, 2021 by Hollywood1892 piper and Neurosis138

I went from two pallets of long boxes to this... Agree. I sold nearly all my books about a month ago. I kept about 60 books and my tpb’s (which I’ll probably donate the majority once the local library starts accepting them again). It was incredibly liberating. And I’ve found myself looking at the “keepers” more often. KirbyJack

Popular Post JazzMan
My comic room is my office, so I'm surrounded by my stuff. Between meetings I will go to the spinner and pick up a book and experience it - I look at the story, the advertisement, the texture and smell, and sometimes I'll Google some of the stores that are advertised. 9 times out of 10 they are not there but I'm surprised when I find it. And yes, it's great to share your experience...my wife is supportive (which is awesome!) and my kids were there to experience some of my experiences too - here's my daughter with a book Steve Borock had brought to the convention many years ago. silverseeker, F For Fake, D84 and 4 others

I want to touch them and smell them and experience them. I love putting a record and breaking out a comic to read while listening to music, feeling that newsprint and smelling it as I look at it. Having them encased in plastic defeats the whole purpose of a comic, but to each their own. I wish you lived down the street. KirbyJack

I imagine he must find this to be the easiest way to step away since the comic book hobby was such a big passion for him throughout his entire collecting life, as clearly evident by so many of the articles which he authored throughout the decades. porcupine48
