Very good advice. There is usually no need to rush when buying comics. I have been personally burned by the "looks really nice in the bag" theory. I am leaning towards VF- 7.5 for the book btw because of the crunch lower spine and corner dings.

Yeh, you may never know if there's a missing coupon, page or centerfold...

 

I won a Detective 267 off of Ebay that was described as VG/F. When I received it, I flipped through and it had a coupon missing out of the last page. Fortunately, the seller was willing to give me a full refund (including shipping) after I mailed it back to him.
