Forgot to mention variant on submission 0

I'm submitting a copy of detective comics #1000 and forgot to say on the form its the 1970s variant, is this a big issue, could i just pencil in on the submission form its a variant??

Follow up, is there any harm in making a new submission form? maybe this one requires a quick phone call before i package my books tmrw morning

It should not be too much of an issue to "pen" it in on a submission sheet.  To put your mind at ease, why not just fill out a completely new submission sheet.  I had a similar circumstance and I, like you, wanted to make "sure" it was submitted correctly not wanting to leave anything to chance.

 

If it will put your mind at ease just redo the entire thing.  It might take a half hour but it will save you the trouble wondering what will happen over the course of the months that the books are not in your hands.

Not a 100% guarantee but if you did submit as is the graders SHOULD identify that it's a variant regardless of what your form says. Kinda a part of their job.
