3RD SON OF SATAN and GR learns how to make the flaming bike into the HELLCYCLE  

Cover stress around the logo area and near chip at bottom of the spine there bring this one down some.

SHAZAM # 8 - GLOSSY VF/VF+ COPY - $65

FIRST BLACK ADAM SINCE THE GOLDEN AGE

Basic cover wear and a mild corner crease at "MORTALS!" at the bottom right front cover and a mild blunt same corner.  Hardly noticeable but there.

The spine looks nice and like all other 100 pagers from this time frame.

Allrighty sir... here's what I have left...

STRANGE TALES # 170 - GLOSSY VG-/VG COPY - oBook has multiple creases at bottom right front cover and a major bend on left side corner.  It lays flat thought.  Basic edge wear and a nice spine.  Small (1/8th inch) tear above the "V" in MARVEL in the logo line.  The first 5 or 6 pages have right bottom corner bends approx 1/16 to 1/8 in width.  I'm assuming that happened with the other creasing on the cover and they flattened the cover but left the pages.   I will add a camera pic.

STRANGE TALES # 173 - GLOSSY VG-/VG COPY - Book has bottom right and upper left corner creases on front cover.  Page 7 inside had a corner crease that I flattened out just now.  Decent spine until you get below the "20 cent" box where there is a tear.  I will add another camera pic.

CHAMPIONS (1975) # 1, 2, 3, 4 - ALL FOR $50

#1 is a GLOSSY VF/NM copy with mild blunt top of spine and milder blunt at bottom of spine.  This book looks better than grade.

# 2 is a GLOSSY  VF/NM with a smidge of cover stress

# 3 is a GLOSSY VF/NM TO NM MINUS with a mild blunt bottom spine.

# 4 is a GLOSSY VF/NM copy with just basic wear.

I swear issue one is the glossiest of the bunch.  It's a blinder.

CLOAK AND DAGGER - MARVEL GRAPHIC NOVEL (1988) - GLOSSY NM MINUS - $15

HOWARD THE DUCK MAGAZINE (1979) # 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 - ALL FOR $45

All issues average a GLOSSY VF MINUS or better.  Just some storage and edge wear.  Issue 3 has a frayed upper spine corner of about 3/4 inch.  Issue 4 has some top edge wear from improper storage that is there but non-obtrusive. #5 has a light frayed bottom spine corner.  #6 has top edge wear.

I will add some camera pics in a second.

Just a nice lot of mags from 42 years ago.

Issue 2 is the only one with a real issue with a small top right front cover corner bend... see scan.  I will look for a better copy of # 2 for this set.  I'm pretty sure I've got a stack of them somewhere.
