Matt1982
I have a FF that John Byrne signed on the cover in silver paint pen years ago. If I get it graded by CGC today, can I get a blue label? And any idea how it might affect the grade?
Bayowolf
You should ask CGC.
Devin Colman
From what I understand, I think you'd prefer the green label tbh. Let's pretend rn it's a 9.8 book with an unauthenticated sig. You would get a 9.8 with a green Qualified label that states "name written on cover in marker". Not sure how hard they are for signatures, but if they graded it with a universal label, that grade would drop very hard, probably 8.5-9.0 range. If you're not looking to sell it, my advice would be find a nice $20 comic frame somewhere and put it up on a wall, I've got an unauthenticated sig and that's what I did with mine.
