I’m looking at purchasing a CGC graded comic from EBay. Can the barcode shown in the advert photo’s be checked on the CGC website? Should I have any concerns about the item being fake etc?

Regarding whether or not you should be concerned that it's fake... probably not unless there are signs of the holder having been tampered with or the cert doesn't check out.

Should you be concerned it's a fake? I mean, anything is possible, but the cases are not easy to crack without damaging.

You may or may not already know this, but look at the seller's rating and feedback, previously sold items, etc. to get an idea if they sell not only legitimate items, but have a good reputation. If they have one or only a few transactions in their history or recently opened an ebay account that could be a potential red flag fwiw.
