Would all SW 69 without the Tatooz get a green label? Also, did the tatooz come in newsstand and direct editions alike?

It’s my understanding that not all SW # 69’s were distributed with Tattooz to begin with, so I don’t see those without them being assigned a Qualified grade.

I bought mine direct and no tattooz.

Only two issues were supposed to have Tattooz and they claim such on their covers. Other issues apparently also had the insert randomly added.

In the past couple years I have found Tattooz inserts in about 30 copies of March, 1983 Marvel issues other than ASM 238 and FF 252. All the inserts were in newsstand editions. That being said, there is an Avengers 229 direct edition CGC 9.8 for sale on eBay which states on the label that it has a Tattooz insert.

I am aware of the insert being in all the March 1983 issues with newsstand editions, except for:  Further Adventures Of Indiana Jones 3; Incredible Hulk Vs Quasimodo 1; New Mutants 1; Red Sonja 2; and Team America 10. I'm still looking for those.

I have 2 copies of FF 252. One with the tattooz.  One without.
