grendelbo
Last post of the day. Another to enjoy. Thanks again for looking at this book and the others I posted today. I got this book 30+ years ago at a small con. I paid somewhere near $100. That was probably the most I paid for a comicbook at the time. The dealer pointed out it was a UK edition and printed at the same time as those distributed in the colonies, thus equal to the 12-centers. It didn't matter to me. I had never seen, let alone been able to afford and purchase, an Avengers 1. You have to wonder about the journey it made to get into my collection. It has major spine and cover wear. Pages are OW. Writing on the back cover. Appreciations! Edited June 5, 2021 by grendelbo improved title description Galen130

Nice. Not quite equal, though. The best guess proportion of the print run given over to UK Pence Price Variants is anywhere between 2 & 10%. So yours is between 10 and 50 times scarcer than the regular cents copies. 4530 cents copies in the census versus 77 pence. Prices for these, especially keys like yours, are starting to creep up. Well done. On 6/5/2021 at 5:15 PM, Galen130 said: 2.5/3.0 I agree.

Well done. And supposedly these UK variants may have been the first off the presses so they could make the voyage across the ocean. Back in 89-90 when I bought it the lack of the 12-cent indica wasn't as special. Thanks for the feedback! rakehell
