I was tempted to grab the sideshow piece but loved the classic look of the MM and have always liked the Nick fury 4 cover. It's probably my favorite Nick fury cover. I have it signed by Jim on the right side of the pic. I actually met Jim that day and he was an awesome stand up guy. ThothAmon

I had him sign some early Fury books for my kids. I don't know if they'll grow up to appreciate them, but I enjoyed meeting Jim and chatting for a minute. Love that cover #4 is my favorite Nick fury steranko Agent of Shield was one of the first SA runs I ever collected. For one, it was more affordable than other big marvel titles. But secondly, the art on those early Sterenko covers was terrific. I sold the run many years ago, but I still have some low grade readers of a handful of them. For me the #4 will always stand out as my favorite of the bunch but they all had special covers on them.

KirbyJack
I gave a friend a copy of Sgt. Fury 1, back when a low grader went for $30. He recently mentioned that he planned to give it back to me someday. I had to explain to him that it’s no longer the sort of thing that people in our financial class give away. Nope, if I remember right, there was a LCS that either the owner was selling his personal collection of Strange Tales or he had bought a run. I bought quite a few from him, including a 9.6 #126. Early 1990s.
