Yup. When you're on a limited collecting budget you have to make forced choices. I choose GA/SA comics.

One of the first things to attract me to the EC line of comic-books was Al Feldstein's cover art. Here, Al illustrates EC's idea of MODERN LOVE! A coal-miner, relaxing at home - still attired for the pit - agonizing over the social barriers posed by his daughter's infatuation with a 'farmer' boyfriend!. Snobbery amongst the working-classes!! Wonderful, vintage Feldstein art . . . absurd scenario - who says Kurtzman brought 'Humour' to EC!!!

I've seen a recreation painting Johnny Craig did, but the car wasn't purple!
