Is C&P possible on all books, even GA in lower grades? 1 1

Hello all,

I am new to the CGC grading universe. Hoping to submit my first comics to be graded this year, but I have questions about C&P and when it should be used. 

I have recently posted a few GA Superman books on the PGM thread, and a few were judged to be 2.0 / 3.0. Given the relatively poor condition, can these books even be considered for C&P or would that process damage them further? I have included just a couple of photos here so you can see the conditions. I was wondering if the edges and spines are too fragile for C&P... And, in addition, if C&P would even do much for lower grade books like these?

I would be especially concerned about the apparently brittle edges!

In my opinion, a C&P could help those books, but I would be hesitant with the Superman 56. The spine looks fragile and you run the risk of further damage. As mentioned above if you have any brittleness a poor press can do more damage than good. 

You want to work with a trusted professional and have them screen the books to see what can realistically be done without harming the comics.

CCS (CGC's pressing service) generally wont clean and press books if they think the process will result in damage to the books.

You may already have see some videos on pressing but this would give you some idea of what your books will go through and you can decide if you're willing to risk it. But get pro advice too, as already mentioned. Cool books you have there, a collector's dream!
