Out only briefly for a couple of years once I entered college due to lack of time but I started back quickly while still in college. Though that stop allowed to start differently when I resumed, that's when I started to look at collecting vintage in addition to modern. Have enjoyed having my hands at both ends of the hobby ever since: vintage & modern + collector & reader :cloud9:

I left around 1993 when starting college coincided with the huge comic book bust.  I returned1999-ish around when Quesada was turning things around with his MK imprint at Marvel, and a roommate introduced me to Hitman and Starman (which had both been around for a while, but had not been on my radar).  The combination of being impressed with Marvel Knights and being shown that DC had still been putting out quality material in the '90s brought me back.
