Grading impact on fold/ crease color breaking on back cover? 3 3

I have this ASM 64.  At some point it was folded in half. The front cover slightly shows it (but is not color breaking).  However, the back cover has a nice crisp clear line running from top to bottom vertically.  Is there any give on the fact that its not color breaking on the cover? And how big of a hit does the back cover get in grading?

In my opinion back cover defects should reduce the grade less than front cover ones. Unfortunately CGC grades them as equally significant from what I've seen

I agree with others here...I have several ASM books like this and depending on the other wear, I feel they fall 3.5 for the rougher ones to maybe 5.0 for the nicer one where the book length crease is the only real detractor.

Weighs in around 4.0 for me. Maybe a 4.5 

You may have seen the thread called Subscription Creases in the Comic Grading & Restoration section. Worth a read if you haven't.

I never go higher than a 4.5 for my own books with sub creases. Same here. Quality book otherwise!
