Question about stacking bends
2 2

I'd like to know how much this defect can affect the grade of a comic.

So assuming that this comic is a 9.8, at which grade would it be downgraded if the only obvious defect is this large stacking bend.

I understand that pressing it will remove the problem but let said that I don’t plan to press it.

Thanks in advance for your time.

But if it’s pressed out, shouldn’t it be graded at the condition it is after the press?

still a copy in near mint range...i don't believe it would fall into vf range

I think so to.

I have a MTU 141 graded 8.5 by CGC because of a 2 inches crease and it was the only defect. Based on that grade, my guess is that a larger bend with no color break would not fall below 9.0
