Hi all, actually not my copy but a good friend of mine.  We are going to have Avery Comics do a clean and press.  Thank you in advance.

Just noticed that there was a shadow in some of the pics, lower part.

Appears as if it will clean up quite nicely...any moisture damage...the full length vertical crease is the grade killer

Thank you FB.  Yeah when I looked at the front, I was thinking at least a 5.0 after a clean and press.  Most of the "stuff" on the cover looks cleanable with a dry clean.  Then I looked at the back...just about killed me.

3.0 here.  Need to check the center fold for moisture damage as well..

Hi all,

 

Just received the grade for the Playboy #1.  Feel free to guess and I'll post the answer tomorrow.  I did have the book cleaned and pressed at Avery Comic in Harwich MA.  Josh Avery did let me know that he wasn't able to get all the staining out.  Totally understand after looking at the book.
