Would you bother grading this? Batman 3D 1990

The census shows not very many of these are graded. The one 9.8 I could find was listed for $200 usd. There are also tons of these at cover price that most likely aren’t pristine condition. I’d have to bet this would come back a 9.8.
I bought this when it came out 31 years ago.

I wouldn't.  Seems like you'd have to hit a 9.8 for it to (maybe) be worth the effort.    Did the $200 9.8 sell or is that just the asking price?  If you can find them for cover, there's no real demand for it.

That’s what I was thinking. Thanks.  It’s more nostalgic than anything.

Completely agree with Chrisco if you're hoping it adds value for a sale.  Recent sales of 99 cents up to $12.  You'll be lucky top get $40-50 after spending $40 for grading and shipping both says.... although you do get free storage in Florida for 7 months.

No way that guy is going to get $200.

But, if it's a book you like and want preserved, that's a different story.

I've slabbed lots of stuff you "shouldn't" slab, but I don't think anything good would come of slabbing this. On top of everything already said, I don't think this book will come back a 9.8 due to the partial reader's crease at FC BL. Squarebound books are hard.
