What is Disney going to do with the Punisher? Get a copy of Punisher 54 (1991) before he enters the MCU 1 1

Why get a copy of Punisher 54? It’s the first appearance of the Punishers dog, Max, as per the official Marvel online database. It’s not currently a key in Key Collector, so get it while it’s cheap. It’s a low key - key you could say, or maybe a Loki. 

Max the Punishers pit bull pet has already featured in the Netflix Punisher series.

If and when Disney brings the Punisher into the MCU you can be sure Max will feature and will perhaps be used to make him more family friendly. Maybe they’ll do a series like Turner & Hooch but with a bigger body count. Castle & Max, I can see it now. Or maybe even his own series like Lassie!

Anyway, if you’re a fan of the Punisher and dogs, this under the radar first appearance of his pit-bull pet is a fun book to own. It’s also the first (and hopefully last) appearance of the Punishers Liefield-esque pouch costume.
