K2 is harder than Everest; only 377 people have ever made it.  Several elite climbers died this past year trying to summit it.

He must be able to breathe something other than oxygen.  I know it's been done plenty, but honestly, I don't know how anyone has the right metabolism to survive such a low-oxygen environment.

I know.  I don't know how he is able to survive HACE.  Watching the Alpinist tonight.  These guys are just incredible.
