catrick339 Posted December 18, 2021 Author Share Posted December 18, 2021 (edited) Well, it's Saturday, so I guess 9:50 is **kinda** early, so here are a couple (kinda) Early Birds Large Feature 9, King of the Royal Mounted 1940 Second ever issue, after Feature Book 1 from 1937 Far and away the nicest Large Feature I've owned, and probably the best I've ever seen. Measuring 8-1/2 x 11-3/8 it is quite large, a bit larger than a sheet of typing paper, and too large for my scanner bed. Flat and square, this item has a matte finish cover, and I took close ups of the flaws. Chip out lower edge FC, tiny tear and not-quite dogear upper RH FC, chip out upper spine BC. That's it. clean, clean copy. Cream pages, but supple, no hint of brittleness. Only one sale listed on GPA, a 9.0 sold almost ten years ago for $947 Overstreet 8.0 is $343. I'm asking $250 and I'm pretty firm at that price, I don't mind hanging on to this one. EDIT: In picture 5 that white spot near the spine is just a random piece of whatever, not something stuck to the book. Must have been something on the work table when I laid it out for the pix.
