Frank Frazetta "The Gauntlet" Postcard $25 Unused, small ding lower left corner, measures 4"x6" SOLD!!

Some interesting notes on artwork that sold through Heritage back in 2010-

Frank Frazetta The Gauntlet Movie Poster Preliminary Study Original Art (c. 1977). As noted in Icon, A Retrospective by the Grand Master of Fantastic Art Frank Frazetta, edited by Arnie and Cathy Fenner, Clint Eastwood sought Frank Frazetta out to add his distinctive look to the movie poster for his new film, The Gauntlet. Frazetta said of Eastwood, "He picked out one that was his favorite and said 'I want it to look like that.' It was Dark Kingdom. 'Not that I want it to look like that, but I want that look. I want your look.'" Eastwood and co-star Sondra Locke flew out to the Frazettas' to pose for the painting, and Frazetta provided Eastwood with a variety of watercolor roughs to choose from -- this is one of those pieces. At the time, Eastwood bought the finished original from Ellie Frazetta for an additional sum beyond the $20,000 fee for the reproduction rights.

1988 Action Comics Hanging Mobile $20 Partially unpunched, I don't believe it was ever used(I assembled it), missing two other upper parts that were meant to be removed when displayed(same sizes as the one that has assembly instructions, see 2nd picture) SOLD!!

Godzilla 'Toon Tumbler Set of (10) Pint Glasses $100 Yeah, these are cool, individual character glasses and Japanese movie poster glasses as well.  Paul has made four more movie poster glasses but I don't have those.

1990s GI Joe Extreme Animation Cels Sealed Case $500 plus shipping, I'm pretty sure it's from Season 1 Episode 6 "Relics", contains 29 folders, each folder is one scene.  Folder contains original hand painted animation cels numbered in sequence, quantity may vary from folder to folder depending on the scene but the volume of the box is filled up either way, folder usually has the corresponding original hand drawn pencil art for each cel, may(most) include scene sheet which shows characters and scene sequence so you can match up frames with multiple cels, additional scene layout art or photocopied art, may have original background art on occasion (but don't count on it).  These GI Joe cels usually have yellow or white paper between each cel so they don't stick to each other(paper can be safely removed).  Box measures 10Wx16Lx12H" and will ship at about 39-40 lbs.

Cool story about that poster. 

“In 77, this guy calls me, and tells my kid on the phone that it’s Clint Eastwood. I said, “Yeah, Clint Eastwood. Big joke.” So my kid hung up on him. He calls back, and sure enough it was Clint Eastwood. I apologized and he laughed. He told me about the movie he was working on..

saw my work and wanted to come visit me.” A week after their phone call, Eastwood and co-star Sondra Locke flew out to the Frazetta estate to meet Frazetta. “They came in a limousine,” Frazetta recalled.

We talked about The Gauntlet and my wife made them peppers and eggs. Clint had some specific ideas about what he should look like on the poster, and made comparisons with a particular painting.”
