A rant (don't let it dampen your fun):  The "off topic posts allowed!" feature of the Cornfield Library thread is being used by its adherents to great effect.  However, it is not being used as intended by Moderation at all, much less as intended.  I was recently one of the guilty parties in derailing a sales thread in G/S/B (for which I apologize), and Moderation threatened people with "points" if they didn't stop it.  This is all well and good under the old Pre-Cornfield regime.  But what Moderation should be doing instead of this is to send all the offending posts to the Cornfield.  The name for this thread was originally chosen on purpose as a place to send "off topic" posts from other threads.  Issuing points, it seems to me, is sending posters to the Cornfield rather than posts.
