We don't have Burger King over here. It's called Hungry Jack's. He was the guy who made a contract with the Burger King corporation back in the 70's or so. Burger King later disliked their contract and down south you'd find both Hungry Jack's and Burger Kings, selling the exact same food. That was weird, until finally HJ's sued them into oblivion via their original contract, which is still in effect, so they can't use their name here or set up shop, it has to be done under Hungry Jack's branding and under that company. 

They also thought 'Hungry Jack's' sounded more 'Australian' than Burger King for that time period. Back when we were apparently still all bogans.

Yeah. Those days. Some still exist. It's a complete embarrassment. For some reason it's the fashion to feature mullleted bogans in ads again, a trend that really needed to right off before it even started.
