Ewoks wore clothes and Chewbacca (Chewbecky) not far enough off to say they couldn't have been named that.. 

This is still more plausible that half of the chit they have done in Star Wars.

8 hours of Chewbacca in a dress would have been better than the sequel trilogy we did get.
