I just got this in. First purchase of the year. Awesome cover, no? A Bronze Age best.

Described as "high grade." Not quite.

Pics show the cover flaws including one dent. There's two interior consecutive page tears measuring about 2" apiece.

Thanks for the opinions. I'll post my grade later.

Thanks for the replies. In hand I was going to call the book a 6.5.

7.0-ish before the interior tears, slight deduction with them. I like 6.0 though.

I posted because of those tears and wanting opinions as to their effect on a grade. IMO, they'd downgrade a NM or VF book into the FN range. Once within the FN range they're acceptable (or at least I wouldn't downgrade it to VG).
