Legends of the Superheroes was a two part special in 1979. Each episode was an hour. 
If you’re a fan of the original Batman TV series, give this a watch. 
It’s about as dull as the Star Wars Holiday special but it has its moments. 

Adam West and Burt Ward reprise their roles and it’s hosted by Ed McMahon 🤪

I've seen this a few times over the years, and it is without question terrible, but also fascinating. What a weird mix of characters to choose. And yes, the less said about Ghetto Man, the better. Yikes.

I thought the Hawkman was done well but underused at the time. I’ve had a bootleg dvd sitting around for ages but I hadn’t watched the 2 part show in the more than 40 years since it aired.
