relationship between nightcrawler and mystic???

I was reading the days of future past today X-men 141/142 and was wondering if any light was brought out in another comic maybe of the relationship between mystic and nightcrawler since in the story she tells him to ask his mother about the resemblance??

 

Im going to be reading the proteus story on my days off also thats a good one too!126-129.

It was revealed that Mystique is Nightcrawler's mother in X-Men Unlimited 4(?).
