BCoffee
Hello, I follow David Lapham's instagram, and jumped on a page last month (December) when he had an end of the year sale. They were very responsive and let me know the page was still available. I bought it on Dec 29th, and have not heard a peep from them since. I have emailed a couple times just checking to see if it was ever sent, or if they were going to send tracking. It's been a month with no correspondence or response. Anyone had any experience with him? Should I be worried? Thanks Twanj
vodou
I buy regularly from David. He ships when he ships, but -so far- he does always ship. I'm not sure that's helpful, but it's...something?

If so, you've got six months coverage; just keep an eye on that. BCoffee and Twanj

See, this is why I am not a fan of sending comic art dealers or artists payment as friends and family. So many of them ask for that these days. I think it is to protect themselves from people claiming the art was never delivered (or to save on the 3% paypal fee, which I am glad to cover, or maybe a tax incentive), but if you have tracking, I am not sure how that would be defensible. You may be right, but that doesn’t mean a disaster always awaits. I recently bought some inked pages from Daniel Henriques in Spain, and the shipment was faster than most things I buy here. The only hick-up was the DHL driver who couldn’t find the building (obviously not the artist’s fault).
D Parker
FWIW, I ordered some pages from David in November last year along with a commission and received them yesterday. Outstanding work. As @vodou said, he ships when he ships, but I doubt you have anything to worry about (if you haven't received them already).

He actually responded to me last week after I tried him again. My page looks like it has shipped as well!
