We all know the best golden age covers , but what about the worst ?

I was browsing a sale group on Facebook and stumbled across this "beauty" . The face of Spark Man cracks me up .

I see it fine on both my computer and phone .

Won't load for me as well on Safari, but works in Chrome, meaning this is an issue with SSL and the page loading mixed content.

Well that picture of it is pretty bad quality which doesn't help it any, it does look better in an actual scan of it. Plus it's redrawn from Sparkler #1 and they made him a little goofier looking. I still like it, but I like good old cheesy comics...

I bought this to complete the brief run of HIT Stormy Foster covers (#18-24).  The other covers around it are all artfully composed, most done by Reed Crandall.  

This is the only Gill Fox cover, ...and he had the audacity to sign it!  

Note: The storm trooper who dropped the knife was stunned twice, the first time after realizing Stormy's costume was only painted on!
