Welcome to the boards, Grant!  

Those spots in the white are prohibitive.  I agree with these guys, I wouldn't mess with it.  Personally, I'd crack it out because that's how I like my comics.  But I wouldn't do it expecting to resend in for a bump in grade.  Good chance you'll be disappointed by that.  2c

If you can share the CGC serial number of the book (it's tiny on those original generation slabs), someone may be able to look up the graders notes and see which defects were mentioned...

If the color rub and the spots in the white area were called out as defects, I agree with everyone else in that a press would not improve this book.
