I figured it wasn't a problem. His auction is over, and it's selling the same stuff.

 

If he had a live auction, sure I wouldn't... but his is finished and ended successfully... so why not use the same wording?

 

Because you're being deceitful...someone who bid on his auction but lost might be thinking they're bidding on something else he has. You're misleading the buyers a little bit.

To copy another seller's exact wording and format is just plain lazy. Not to mention it's against Ebay regulations, whether or not the other auction is still live.

 

Put a little more effort into your auctions. If you're this half-hearted about the listing, what can a potential bidder reasonably conclude about your packaging and shipping time?
