Backboard questions

Does halfback refer to boards coated on only one side as opposed to fullbacks being coated on both sides? Do I understand these terms correctly?

also, I read in a (much) older thread that they tend to come with a bit of curvature, but is this not a bit too curved? Shiny side up. Looking to rebag and just got these.

Thanks

Halfback and Fullbacks are terms for boards sold by one company, not a generic term for boards coated on one side.

Thank you so much, my last 3 hours of research actually makes some sense now.

I feel your pain.  Is that a BCW?  I struggle with curved BCWs all the time.  It is quite bad.  And that looks even worse than most of mine.  It's also not that easy to bend it back perfectly without warping another side and ending up with multiple curves instead of the one.  What I think helps is bending them as best you can and then putting them in mylar instead of the thin bags.

They're Ultra Pro. I'm really thinking these need to go back, it's very stressful to look at my books on them. Last time I bagged my books was 30 years ago but I really don't remember ever getting a pack this bad.
