PGM - Giant Size X-Men - Spine split and tear 2 2

[Hey Kids, Comics!]

Picked this up this am in TN. Not sure how they treat the cover split and tear.

I would say 3.0

That spine split is a killer, also edge looks brittle with all those chips out. 3.0 may be generous. Overstreet Guide to grading for a 3.0 only allows only up to a 1 -1/2" split and this is more like 3" I think. 

Wondering if it would be better to tape the split from the inside. 

There is also that horizontal tear at top of split.

I agree with the other posts .. the split and the tears are pretty rough .. I was trying to be not too harsh at 3.0 but I will revise to 2.5 .. I think 2.0 is too low considering the rest of the book is not bad

Thanks. I was thinking 2.0-2.5 and hoping 3.0. It will look pretty great in a plastic tomb though!
