Captain lmad
Can this bottom dent be pressed out?
mr_highgrade
You can't press out a crease that breaks color. littledoom
awakeintheashes
It’ll press back to unbent, but you’ll still have the color break and still not have a 9.8. littledoom
Lord Gemini
I do wonder though how much of a non-color breaking spine tick could get pressed out. Could you get it down to 1/16 of an inch?

Lightning55
You can likely get the bend out almost completely, if not completely. The color break will remain. The overall appearance will be better aesthetically, but that defect will show. Looking at the back photo, there are other color-breaking creases on the spine - below the top staple, and some smaller ones along the middle of the spine. Maybe more on the front (not shown). As you add up defects, your grade is dropping.
Crops068
The bend can be pressed but the color break will still be there. There is no way to fix the break in color (without getting a purp).
