mims4321
I bought a copy of air pirates funnies #1 I am considering grading. Overall I would say (as an amateur) it’s in the 5’s, but this front cover stamp has me more confused. It looks like someone stamped their name into it. It is a raised stamp almost like a notary stamp that leaves an impression on the paper. Has anyone seen this before or know of any other instances of this happening? Is it worth a grade still? thanks! photos attached Edited April 7, 2022 by mims4321 More descriptive The Lions Den and grendelbo
LowGradeBronze
Certainly is still worth a grade. More elegant and distinctive then just a name in pen on front cover. I like a book to tell its history like that, cool. The Lions Den, Hutch88 and mims4321 2
The Lions Den
That shouldn't affect the grade for a book in this grade range... steveinthecity, grendelbo and mims4321 2

William-James88
Beautiful book. And don't worry, that stamp won't affect the grade when it's midgrade mims4321 and The Lions Den 1
