1994 #25 (Jun 1982) Reader Copy

I'll give this to the person who claims it.  Let's say that you must have claimed something else as well, so you are still responsible for shipping cost.  FWIW this material will never be collected in a collected edition of any kind.

I will take it.

Garbo Vampirella #3 (1973) 7.0 FN/VF $30

This is the only Vampirella I have.  Published by Spanish publisher Garbo, reprints some of the content from the Warren magazine, ironically enough translating stories into Spanish that were illustrated by Spanish artists.  It includes part of Dracula Still Lives from Vampirella #18 and Shadow of Dracula from Vampirella #19 (art by Pepe Gonzalez), one of the three original Pantha stories (art by Auraleon), and Fernando Fernandez' Rendezvous, consistently ranked amongst the best of the Warren stories.  What is of most interest of course is the Enrich (Enrique Torres-Pratt) cover, which reproduces the cover of Warren Vampirella #35, but adds a Vampi costume whereas the original apparently caught Vampi during a laundry day.  Note: I am not including a copy of Warren Vampirella #35, I am only providing a picture for comparison.  I'm rating the book FN/VF, this appears to be an unread warehouse copy, the main defect, visible in the scans, is a 3" thumb crease on the right of the cover, also a dented corner lower right with a 3/8" CB, and the imprint of some doodling (about the size of a quarter in area).  Some finger dents in the rest of the cover, but basically decent shape e.g. see the spine.  The internal paper is better than the newsprint that Warren used, a yellow hue. There is also an adhesive decal taped to the table of contents, advertised loudly on the cover.

Eerie #29 (Feb 1983) 8.5 VF+ $20

The final issue of the magazine, as Warren was forced to liquidate to pay their unpaid bills, including taxes.  Killed off by the Marvel Curtis magazines, which were far inferior, but forced Warren and Skywald off the newsstands.  Alas.
