Recently submitted a card that got 9.5 centering, edges, and corners, and a 7.5 surface. Final grade was an 8. I thought it would have gotten an 8.5 as a grade. Is there a way to get an explanation of the surface grade?

The maximum grade with a 7.5 surface is an 8.
