Popular Post path4play Posted April 20, 2022 Popular Post Share Posted April 20, 2022 (edited) Not sure what prompted @MrBedrock's sales thread - but that prompted me to share mine (the book in my sig line) that I had restored. I know, restoration is not everyone's thing, and frankly I don't think I'll do it again. However, my theory was that this is my favorite book and I was curious. Turned out as well as one could have hoped for. And the very good news is it took so long that the value of the book seems to have increased significantly, even factoring in the restoration. Its been sitting in a pile of books I've intended to send to GCG for months but haven't gotten around to it it. I will post it slabbed when graded. One of those that just happened to close right at my max all in crazy price. I just think it's a nice courtesy to show a buyer what the comic looked like "before". Some of these 9.8 extreme restored comics that are being sold.....
