Pressing??

24 posts in this topic

For a long time I have laid my comics on the dryer under wieght.

I would leave them there until I thought they were back in shape.

I am not talking about all of the comics I have bought, but there were some.

Is this considered pressing?

Thanks, livinglucky

Nope, pro pressing involves heat, moisture and pressure to give an old wrinkled comic that just-printed look and feel. You can't even emulate the weight in a standard book press using anything a human being can lift.

I guess this is not pressing.

I don't know about brain power but you could own a nice flat book, that set on a dryer and not know. There are a lot of books that have been on my dryer.

No, that could not happen to a whiz such as yourself. I bet your one step ahead of a trick from a no brain in the midwest.
