Nope, pro pressing involves heat, moisture and pressure to give an old wrinkled comic that just-printed look and feel. You can't even emulate the weight in a standard book press using anything a human being can lift.

 

 

Its funny how so many people are trying to perpetuate the notion that pressing is 'just like putting a stack of books on top of a comic'. To make pressing seem like a natural phenomena. What a load of hogwash.
