Eternity Comics Production error on cover? 1 1

Hi, so I have several Eternity comics in my collection and they almost all have two faint penny size half-circle indents on the front right edge of the front cover, all in the same place.  I got these books from all different sellers, locations, so thinking this may be a printer error or a mark made by print machinery. Anyone run across this?

I’m curious then how multiple copies of these books all have it when they were purchased from different locations, different states, and different times.

Would have to be a MFG defect if multiple copies have the same condition.
