detached staple effect on price?

Assuming that the detached staple was already taken into consideration in determining the grade of the book (since it is included in the graders's notes), then none whatsoever.  Your book should have the same market value as any other 4.5 CGC graded book of the same title and issue.

Individual collectors may be more or less likely to buy a book based on their own particular tastes and tolerances for various defects, but theoretically, all instances of that book in that grade should have the same base market value--it just may appeal more to one person than another.
